Welcome to Fornice Objects website and online shop. These terms and conditions apply to any purchase made from forniceobjects.com. When placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions. Please carefully read the terms and conditions before placing your order.

Orders
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation of your order by email. Please note that this is not the final order confirmation. The order is not binding until it is approved by Fornice Objects. You will receive an order and shipping confirmation with estimated time of delivery by email. If, for any reason, Fornice Objects is unable to fulfill your order, you will be informed at the earliest opportunity. If Fornice Objects has already received payment for such order, the corresponding amount will be refunded using the same method used to make the payment. If, for any reason, alternative arrangements are necessary, you will be contacted to settle the refund.
Prices and payment
Fornice Objects online shop accepts the following credit cards:

All prices are indicated in EUR and 22% Italian sales tax/VAT is included. Delivery charge or local customs fee, tax and duties are not included. Please note that if your order is placed outside the EU you may not have to pay the Italian sales tax/VAT, which could be refunded from the Italian authorities, but you may have to pay additional customs fee, tax and duties in the country of destination. Fornice Objects is not responsible for these or for any fees charged by customs. The carrier will contact you in case of any extra charges or customs clearance. This might delay the delivery. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to pay for these extra charges and to get the refund of the Italian sales tax/VAT from the Italian authorities.
Delivery and shipping
All pieces available for purchasing at forniceobjects.com are made to order unless otherwise stated. Please expect a lead time for the porcelain pieces is 4-6 weeks to build, dry, fire and ship your order. For larger orders, the lead time can be up to 8 weeks. If you are intfortherested in receiving a quote for estimated delivery time and costs please contact forniceobjects@gmail.com
Fornice Objects online shop offers worldwide shipping. You can also collect your purchase in Ravenna to avoid shipping costs. Please just use the code “collect in studio” during check out to collect your piece from the studio. Please contact forniceobjects@gmail.com to arrange the visit.
Returns and refunds
Return of your purchase may be made within 14 days of receiving a piece purchased directly through forniceobjects.com. If you wish to return a piece, it must be undamaged, unused and clean. Please email forniceobjects@gmail.com before sending your piece back to confirm you are doing so. If you regret your purchase, please send or deliver the item to: Fornice Objects / Ravimm Spa, Via Piomboni 2, 48121 Ravenna - Italy.
Please inform of your shipping tracking number by email to forniceobjects@gmail.com. You must return the item in the original packaging. You should also make sure that the item is properly wrapped when you return it. You carry the risk of the package yourself until it is received by Fornice Objects. The costs associated with the return will be covered by you. The item must be shipped no later than 14 days after you have notified that you wish to cancel your purchase. Your refund will be credited to the same card used to make the original purchase. Private commissions and custom-made pieces cannot be returned or refunded.
Defects and complaints
The goods are insured in transit. Please verify the package and content upon receipt. In case of damaged items in transit, please email forniceobjects@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving the package with attached evidence photos. In case of a complaint or an order not delivered, please contact forniceobjects@gmail.com
Colour and shape
All porcelain pieces are made by hand by Chiara, designer of Fornice Objects in Ravenna, Italy. Each piece is carefully created with precision and personality and one of a kind. By its nature, it is imperfect and unique. Not two pieces are exactly the same and small variations in form, colour and finish will occur between pieces.
Every effort is made to ensure colours appear as realistic as possible. However, due to the constraints of digital reproduction on different web browsers, the exact colour depiction cannot be guaranteed. Please contact forniceobjects@gmail.com if you would like to request colour samples.
Care and use
To care for your Fornice Objects piece, please hand rinse your pieces. Only the tableware is dishwasher safe. Porcelain and PLA pieces must be handled delicately to ensure that the items remain undamaged. Fornice Objects is not responsible for broken pieces from mishandling.
Security
Fornice Objects is committed to protecting your privacy. All information provided by you is received securely through SSL and will not be disclosed to any unauthorised third parties.
Governing law
The agreement to sell and purchase items from forniceobjects.com shall in all respects be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, excluding the conflict of law rules.
